A naturalist-themed artist working primarily in oil, his paintings move fluidly between abstraction and realism as each subject inspires. Influenced by early West Coast roots, extensive world travel, and years of technical training and exhibitions in Texas, his work explores the delicate, the primitive, and playful moments of imagination. Reconnecting human emotion with nature’s beauty remains his lifelong passion—much like a poet using metaphor to reveal deeper meaning. His ongoing involvement with the gallery and the opportunity to share his work continue to provide purpose as he lives with Parkinson’s disease.
